Here’s some MORE good news for Manchester City fans.
Not only are Pep Guardiola’s boys leading the Premier League by a stunning 16 points at the moment, but they absolutely thrashed Basel in this evening’s Champions League last-16 clash.
Oh, but it gets better, with Leroy Sane returning from his ankle injury some five weeks earlier than expected.

That’s right, the Germany international came off the bench for City on the 57th minute in their 4-0 win at the St. Jakob-Park, having seemingly made a full recovery from his ankle ligament injury.
The 22-year-old returned to the squad on Monday for the first time since hurting his ankle in their FA Cup clash with Cardiff 17 days ago, and it was originally thought he’d miss the next 11 matches of their campaign, returning some time around the end of March.
However, there he was on the bench this evening.

That’s a pretty incredible recovery, considering the injury was apparently so bad that Guardiola wanted to fork out a pretty penny to sign Alexis Sanchez as cover.
The former Schalke starlet looked lively in the final half-an-hour as well, seeing a chance to score blocked near the end of the match.
It’s a miracle!
