James Rodriguez is back in training at Bayern Munich after returning early from international duty with Colombia.
Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes said the playmaker's international schedule "was verging on insanity" as he flew to friendlies against South Korea in Seoul and China in Chongqing immediately after his side's last Bundesliga match.
James, 26, played in the defeat to South Korea on Friday but chose to return to Germany ahead of Saturday's Bavarian derby against Augsburg rather than taking part in the China match on Tuesday.
Speaking ahead of the game against China, Colombia coach Jose Pekerman said: "We all know how much James likes to wear the national team jersey, but he is also enjoying wearing the Bayern shirt and I don't want to prevent him from doing so.
"He came here personally and said he wanted to return to his club. I've known James for the past five years, but it's the first time he's asked me for something like this."
