Well well well… what do we have here then?
Mauro Icardi is one of the most sought-after players on the planet after developing into a world class striker at Inter Milan in the last few seasons.
CLAIM YOUR FREE £20 BET Sun Bets have this brilliant offer when you sign up and bet a fiver Icardi is one of Serie A’s best playersAFP or licensorsThe fiery Argentine hitman has scored an incredible 89 goals in 147 league appearances for the Italian giants.
So it’s no surprise to see rumours linking him away from the club, particularly with Inter lying 13 points off Serie A leaders Napoli and not even participating in Europe this season.
And his Instagram activity on Monday night certainly won’t have quashed any speculation.
What do we have here? That’s because Icardi took to social media to post a cryptic goodbye message with the caption ‘Chau chau’.
The text itself also translates as “being able to say goodbye is to grow.”
Curious.
Real Madrid are being heavily linked with Icardi as a replacement to spice up their front line.
All three members of BBC have struggled this seasonGetty ImagesThere are questions over the futures of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema with Real’s famed ‘BBC’ all struggling with form and fitness problems this season.
So has Icardi just dropped a major hint that a move is in the pipeline?

But not before congratulating the new record-holder with a very gentlemanly handshake.

The forward often found himself thrown out on the wing during Zlatan’s reign at the club, but still managed an impressive feat of notching at least 25 goals-per-season in all competitions since moving to France.
That includes the incredible return of 49 goals in 50 starts last season, when he finally played front and centre for the side.

BT Sport Salty[/caption]
The former Arsenal centre-back – who’s perhaps better known for squaring up to Ruud van Nistelrooy all those years ago, rather than his ability as a defender – is fairly intolerable when it comes to match day coverage.
And in Manchester United’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Yeovil this evening – in which former Gunners forward Alexis Sanchez made his debut for the club – he reached new levels of salty and bitter.
PA:Press Association Sanchez in action against Yeovil[/caption]
It seems the Chilean could do nothing right in the eyes of the Arsenal legend, despite easily being United’s most creative player on the night and duly earning the Man of the Match award (which, to be fair, Keown awarded through gritted-teeth.
Don’t believe us? Here’s the best from Twitter.
It’s amazing how pundits morph into unbelievable players when they finish playing? Keown slagging off some of the Utd lads touch/control is bizarre! He had the technical ability of a square wheel.

— Stephen Howson (@MrStephenHowson) January 26, 2018
I think Keown is going ott with some of his comments re Sanchez. Said the Chilean was ‘ignoring’ Rashford, when it was Sanchez who looked for Rashford for the goal. Sanchez the best and most creative player in the first 45 mins.

Despite what Keown would have you believe, Sanchez started his United career off by playing a key role in the opening goal.
Just before half-time, the 29-year-old used his pace and strength to break into the Yeovil box, cut inside the defence and pick out Marcus Rashford in the middle.

Juan Cuadrado has been quietly getting down his business for Juventus.
That business being a marauding winger flying up and down Juve’s right and playing in Champions League finals.
We’ll ignore the fact he picked up two yellow cards having only come on as a substitute in the 60th minute in the biggest game of his life.
CLAIM YOUR FREE £20 BET Sun Bets have this brilliant offer when you sign up and bet a fiver That face says it allAFP or licensorsCuadrado first came into our minds when Chelsea paid Fiorentina £23million for him sending Mohamed Salah the other – no one mention hindsight.
The Colombian had an indifferent time at Stamford Bridge and Juventus brought him to Turin on a three year loan deal.
Here at Dream Team we always considered him as an out-and-out winger providing pace down the flanks and servicing the front men.
Well it looks like we could have been wrong about him all along after this Twitter exchange.

I just found out I’m an attacker #ForzaJuve https://t.co/Hjpxk45Sll
— Juan Cuadrado (@Cuadrado) January 18, 2018
Firstly let’s deal with the fact that Paulo Dybala is clearly on a different plane to the other two in this montage.
Anyway, Cuadrado’s response brings into question a very valid point – should a winger be considered part of the attack or midfield?
In the modern game a 4-3-3 formation requires attacking wingers on both sides with a goal threat through the middle.
A rare sight but what a kitAFP or licensorsBut when you look at Cuadrado’s career numbers, he might be trying to save some skin by saying he doesn’t consider himself an attacker.
He has only reached double figures in the goal stakes once in his career, at Fiorentina in 2013/14, otherwise he has scored a maximum of five in any one year.
Taking his assists into account it does not look much better.
He managed 10 in total last season and only bettered that once before – again at the Viola but in 2012/13.

This could be big news in the transfer saga of the season.
Mina Raiola, Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s super-agent, has had his say on how the Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United transfer will pan out.
The man who brought Paul Pogba to Old Trafford for a personal cut of around £40million has spoken publicly on the move for the first time.
CLAIM YOUR FREE £20 BET Sun Bets have this brilliant offer when you sign up and bet a fiver United, City, Chelsea, take your pickAP:Associated PressAccording to The Times, Raiola is adamant that Jose Mourinho will only be able to get Sanchez to move to the red side of Manchester if Mkhitaryan agrees a move to the Emirates.
“Sanchez is part of the Mkhi deal, not the other way round,” Raiola is reported as saying.
“Manchester United is not going to sign Sanches unless Mkhi agrees to join Arsenal.”
PLAY DREAM TEAM WEEKENDER Pick seven players to win £5k! MISSING: Mkhitaryan from the United starting lineupAFP or licensorsWell, well, well.
It appears that the ball is completely in Mkhitaryan’s court and by the sounds of things, if he refuses to budge it could scupper not only Sanchez’s move to Old Trafford but also Arsenal’s pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Arsenal reportedly prefer United’s Anthony Martial as part of the exchange for the best player but the Old Trafford hierarchy are unwilling to let the French youngster go, especially after splashing £50million on him just a couple of seasons ago.
Raiola’s wallet loves a transferAFP or licensorsCity dropped out of the race to sign the Chilean last night, as they said the package had become more expensive than that they agreed in the summer despite Sanchez having just six months left of his contract.
In a late development, Arsenal’s West London neighbours Chelsea have expressed an interest in bringing the 29-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
What do I have to do to get away from Arsenal?AFP or licensorsHowever, Raiola’s comments suggest there is only one realistic destination for Sanchez and it’s Manchester.
Particularly as his wage demands are astronomical at £350,000 per week and United are one of the very few sides who could afford that.
Come on Mkhi, put us out of our misery.

Forget Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson is the true hero at Liverpool this season.
The Scotland international – signed for a measly £8 million from Hull in the summer – has been blindingly good lately, well and truly nailing down the Reds troublesome left-back position.
CLAIM YOUR FREE £20 BET Sun Bets have this brilliant offer when you sign up and bet a fiverAnd in Liverpool’s stunning 4-3 victory over Manchester City this evening, Robertson had the game of his life up against Anfield villain Raheem Sterling.
Sterling has been emphatic so far this seasonAFP or licensorsIn the clash with the Premier League leaders, Jurgen Klopp’s side pulled off a relentless pressing display that clearly rattled City’s defence and nullified their attack.
At kick-off, all eyes were firmly on Sterling – a Liverpool favourite before his move to the Etihad in 2015 – who’s scored 14 times in the league so far this season.
PLAY DREAM TEAM WEEKENDER Pick seven players to win £10k!But it all went a bit wrong for the winger, who was jeered throughout by the Anfield crowd, while Robertson marked him out of the game.
As you’d expect, a large portion of Twitter was very impressed.
Andrew Robertson just sprinted from left-back & pressed City’s goalkeeper & left-back.
Build that man a statue.
— LFC Transfer Room (@LFCTransferRoom) January 14, 2018
Fantastic performance by Robertson. Kept his head throughout in a hugely pressurised game. He won more tackles (7) and made more interceptions (7) than any other player on the pitch today.
— DaveOCKOP (@DaveOCKOP) January 14, 2018
Andy Robertson is so good. Riise has finally been replaced.
— Matt (@FalseFirmino) January 14, 2018
The Kop are bellowing Andy Robertson's name and with good reason. His performance has been exceptional, caused Raheem Sterling to shortcircuit. He may have just made the left-back position his own.
— Dominic King (@DominicKing_DM) January 14, 2018
Robertson is an absolute steal at £8m. Up against Sterling and Walker today but didn’t flinch once. Brilliant in the tackle while getting forward on the overlap, too. Stunning performance.
— Leanne Prescott (@_lfcleanne) January 14, 2018
Robertson has been brilliant today!!! Energy!!! Love it!! @andrewrobertso5 what a performance
— John Arne Riise (@JARiiseOfficial) January 14, 2018
People laughed when I said Robertson's one of the best LBs in the division. Kept Sterling and Walker in his pocket. Maintain he can become one of the best in the world.
— RG (@registability) January 14, 2018
Robertson was phenomenal in the Derby. Even better here. Sterling in his back pocket since minute one. One of the best left back performances from any Liverpool player in years.
— Joel Rabinowitz (@joel_archie) January 14, 2018
One moment, late in the second-half when everyone was exhausted (including viewers in the stadium and at home), Robertson kept up his tremendous pressing play and absolutely terrified City’s back-line.
Starting off on the right flank with Bernardo Silva, Robertson chased down the Portuguese winger – who had no choice but to pass backwards to Kyle Walker.
Walker received the ball, but Robertson kept going.
And he only continues his pursuit when the right-back picks out John Stones in the middle.
Stones quickly swivels and picks out his goalkeeper, but the Liverpool defender doesn’t stop running.
This tiki-taka stuff is risky business; Robertson closes down Ederson who quickly passes to Nicolas Otamendi.
It gets tricky here for the big centre-back, who has no where else to play the ball as Roberto Firmino closes in.
Otamendi inevitably panics and loses the ball, much to the delight of the crowd.
Brilliant work all round.
More of the same, please?
